European Conference and Brokerage Event

On November 21st 2023 final conference took place in Lublin Conference Center in Lublin (Poland). According to the project, the conference consisted of two parts. Part I: Fundamental rights and digital tools for e-health services. The partnership presented and shared research, innovation and practices of stakeholders’ involvement related to: a) the interdisciplinary approach needed to develop digital tools in the e-health sector respectful of fundamental rights and; b) the advantages of this approach in terms of businesses’ competitiveness and effective healthcare systems. 6th Project Meeting

The final, sixth project meeting of the REINITIALISE grant is behind us. On 19-20 June, the consortium met in Leuven, Belgium to summarize tasks completed so far in the project, as well as to plan activities for the final months in REINITIALISE. The event started with a summary of Phase 2 of Venture Lab, where researchers representing the research lines (see article: https://www.reinitialise.eu/pl/blog/venture-lab-phase-2-spotkania-w-ramach-zadania/) presented the current state of collaboration with NGOs and companies. During the two days of meetings, we discussed plans for the coming months, and our researchers participated in an inspiring Booster Session organized by KU Leuven. Venture Labs- summary of the first phase of meetings

We have just completed the first phase of Venture Lab meetings, during which UMCS scientists presented their research ideas that will be implemented with partners from the third-parties sector! Another event bringing together the world of external stakeholders and academics is behind us. On 28.11-02.12, our University was visited by Partners from UNIMC and KUL, who, together with our scientific staff, talked about good practices in the implementation of joint activities in the group of so-called external stakeholders. Stationary workshop for staff and doctoral students of the UMCS!

On 7-8 November, the Institute of Social Communication and Media Sciences was visited by some of the best specialists in applying for and implementing European projects. Barbara Chiucconi from the University of Macerata and Dr Claudio Carolone from Eurocentro Srl provided practical knowledge on how to prepare applications for the European Commission’s Horizon Europe programme during a two-day workshop.
